      1. well, it’s like the rich, fat lady that garners great media attention when she hosts a free Thanksgiving meal for the poor…however, she conveniently forgets that poor people eat more than once a year.

        1. $610,000 could help quite a few people eat more than just one meal. Besides, even the longest journey begins with but a single step. Why disparage this successful charitable event? You have no class, botvinnik. None at all.

        2. It’s not all about vanity. There may be some assuaging of guilt mixed in with the adulation of self righteousness. The true measure of one’s altruism is if it is done without public acclumation.

        3. It wouldn’t be a big deal except Tim Cook has made it a big deal. All that’s missing is a parade and marching band. Hell, it’s not even Cook’s own money. I really can’t give any kudos to Cook or the person who wants to known as the the individual who had a cup of Joe with the CEO of Apple. I think the whole thing is more about them than whatever group or groups get a cut of the cash.

    1. More money was lost yesterday by Apple investors every second then what was raised by the “Coffee with Tim Cook” fund raiser.

Where is the PR and did Apple miss the need for their buy back yesterday?

      1. Someone get Tim Cook and the Apple board some coffee. Then give them the phone number for the stock broker and tell them to either start buying back AAPL shares like the said they would do or just go home and let anyone else do their job!

  1. I would like a dinner with him, so I could ask him why is he doing weird stuff like making iPhone 5 a bit taller. Steve Jobs would have made iphone 5 a lot more impressive than it is. I am sure the Illuminati has gotten Google to brainwash Tim Cook to do this. Google is using sophisticated brainwashing technology developed by the Illuminati so they could bring on their reign of terror. Tim Cook is an Illuminati shill. Schiller for CEO.
