Tim Cook may be compelled to testify in U.S. DOJ’s antitrust case against Apple over e-books

“Apple Inc. Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook may testify in the U.S. Justice Department’s lawsuit against the world’s biggest technology company over e-books pricing,” Bob Van Voris reports for Bloomberg.

“Cook’s possible testimony was disclosed today in a brief order by U.S. District Judge Denise Cote in Manhattan, who is overseeing the case,” Van Voris reports. “In a three-sentence order, Cote set a telephone conference for March 13 after the U.S. asked her in a letter on March 6 for ‘assistance in settling a discovery dispute’ with Cupertino, California-based Apple over Cook’s deposition.”

Van Voris reports, “The March 6 letter wasn’t part of the publicly available court file.”

    1. Train the monkey, the monkey does the trick.

But if the monkey gets *ShOCkeD* when it performs the trick, it eventually figures out the trick is bogus and it does the OPPOSITE. That’s precisely where we are right now with AAPL. Watch the DayTraderTard monkeys figure it all out. Inevitable. 😀

  1. Tim Cook may testify in the U.S. Justice Department’s lawsuit…

I suspect that Tim Cook will tell the TechTard DOJ how utterly stupid and technology illiterate they are, in the kindest possible way.

IF anything proves how utterly unprepared the US federal government is for the 21st Century, which started 13 years ago, it’s THIS lawsuit. Total FAIL. 😯
