‘jOBS’ biopic to premier in theaters in April

“Open Road Films and Five Star Feature films on Thursday announced that distribution agreements are in place for the Steve Jobs biopic “jOBS,” which will arrive in theaters sometime in April,” Mikey Campbell reports for AppleInsider.

“The film stars Ashton Kutcher as Apple cofounder Jobs is said to chronicle the defining 30 years of the tech guru’s life, from the creation of Apple, his ousting in 1985, the founding of NeXT Computer, the purchase of Pixar and his subsequent return to Apple in 1996,” Campbell reports. “Not to be confused with the big-budget Sony film written by “The Social Network” scribe Aaron Sorkin, jOBS will premiere as the closing night film at this year’s Sundance Film Festival on Jan. 27.”

  1. I love Mac Daily News. I’ve been using it for a long time for the latest Mac news. This has been a family friendly site but now you folks are going soft porn. FLIRT LIVE. Seriously. Is hard-core porn next? Stick with tech and tech related stuff or I’m outta here.

    1. And be certain that you don’t accidentally touch one of these ads while reading MDN. If you do you will be taken someplace that you don’t want to be. And it’s hardly soft porn. Considering you don’t have to be 18 or over to read MDN it’s disgusting. I hate to think what happens when a young Apple fan accidentally touches one of these stupid ads. MDN you should be ashamed of yourself. I don’t find this on Apple Insider or Mac Rumors. Get rid of these ads or you will lose readers.

    2. I’m another long-time UK-based MDN fan. Recently I’ve noticed the use of ads from “Mature Dating UK”. I’m no prude, but they are unwanted and crass. Please MDN, stick to technology ads!
