Tim Cook, 5 things you might not know (with video)

Bloomberg Businessweek editor Josh Tyrangiel sat down with Apple chief Tim Cook and came away with a handful of personal reflections from the man who replaced Steve Jobs.

Tyrangiel says, “Cook is managing Apple for breakthroughs, not merely the refinement of products that are already in existence, but for product breakthroughs in new categories.”

  1. When you have in excess of $120 Billion in cash, you also employ some of the best ‘tech brains’ on earth and you create a work environment dedicated to ‘innovation’ and ‘change’ in a variety of industries then I feel it is safe to assume that ‘breakthroughs’ are entirely possible.

  2. I didn’t know you could just collect stuff that everyone has known for a long time and write a new story about it.

    To be fare, the story was directed to people who know very little about Apple.
