“Apple could be looking to bring AMD Radeon graphics to the iMac, as the company has just placed an advertisement for a Hardware Systems Electrical Engineer on their website,” AppleBitch reports.
“The position looks for a ‘Senior EE to work on electrical & system design integration of the iMac computer system,'” AppleBitch reports. “One of the key qualifications for this post is experience in AMD Graphics Processing Units or GPUs, as well as experience in Nvidia GPUs.”
AppleBitch reports, “With this latest job advertisement, Apple could be looking to offer AMD graphics cards in the iMac once again.”

apple going to buy AMD out of bankruptcy?
Yeah, just what we need – a graphics card from a company that is likely to be shuttering its doors in a couple of years. I’ve always found the NVidia graphics cards on my MacBook Pro to be better than the AMD cards found in other MBP.
I’m not surprised, NVIDIA drivers on OSX have been an absolute POS lately.
Surely it’s in Apples interest to keep AMD in business.
