Thx for the link to an out of stock item .. Yes.. I clicked the link as soon as you posted it… Pre-order it? No thx.. Monoprice will likely have a less costly option prior to “their” availability
Ummm… It’s been announced but is not yet shipping. It’s a new product, not a sold out product. The link will let you be among the first to receive this new product when it hits the market, if it interests you.
MDN – thanks for the breaking news about a new product.
There’s no such Thing as a sixth generation iPod touch yet. The so-called fifth generation iPod touch was when Apple released the white model.
$40.00 is a little steep. Probably cost them about $5.00 to make it.
Sweet! I’ll buy 2 from you at that price. Just let me know when you have them ready. Thx
Why does it cost $40? This is not compelling enough.
Surprised that people are complaining about it being $40. Apple charged $30 for the 30 pin dock. Gear4 being first to market (if they do end up being first to market) with an in demand product will of course allow them to charge a premium price.
Sounds like some of the complainers could have a successful Kickstarter campaign if they think they can bring one out for less than $20.
You have control issues, don’t you Gordon?
Nope, not at all. I am rather opinionated though.
Another fail! Common, Apple! Put out a dock for your devices!
Needs to support case-enclosed devices. Otherwise, use Apple’s adapter with your current dock. (Black would also be a nice option.)
If they gave a bit more thought to its design, this dock could easily be compatible with iPads as well as the iPhone and iPod touch.
Too expensive. I’ll keep looking.
