Apple HQ replacing North Pole as Christmas gift center

“Children no longer need to send their Christmas wish lists to Santa Claus at the North Pole, but instead should send them to Apple CEO Tim Cook in Cupertino, California,” Patrick Seitz reports for Investor’s Business Daily.

“Apple products are four of the top five most-wanted tech gadgets for U.S. kids aged 6 to 12 this year, according to a survey by Nielsen,” Seitz reports. “Apple’s iPad is No. 1, with 48% of kids expressing an interest in getting one of the nifty tablets. Nintendo’s new Wii U video game console is second, with 39%. Rounding out the top five are, in descending order, Apple’s iPod Touch, iPad Mini and iPhone.”

Seitz reports, “Among U.S. teenagers and adults, Apple’s iPad also is the most wanted gift this holiday season, Nielsen said. About 21% of consumers ages 13 and older are interested in getting Apple’s tablet computer.””
