“In a note to clients Wednesday, Piper Jaffray’s Gene Munster reports that his nightly checks of supplies at 100 Apple Stores showed significant improvement over the past 10 days,” Philip Elmer-DeWitt reports for Fortune.
“‘We believe,’ [Munster writes], ‘that within the next two weeks that customers will be able to purchase iPhone 5s at Apple Stores same day,'” P.E.D. reports. “Solving the iPhone 5 supply problem before the holidays was critical for Apple. Last year, iPhones accounted for 53 cents of every dollar Apple earned in its December quarter.”

tim cook addressed the issue on supply constraint during the conference call. its the manipulators who put out the BS. i was never worried bout it.
How does he know it isn’t the lack of demand that is creating excess inventory. Or is that next weeks story…
