“With a newly refreshed product lineup and pent-up demand for its devices, Apple will have a standout holiday shopping season, according to Topeka Capital analyst Brian White,” Aabha Rathee reports for Wall St. Cheat Sheet.
“White, who wrote in a research note on Monday that the recent sell-off of Apple shares was ‘insanely insane,’ cited a Consumer Electronics Association survey in a new analysis released on Tuesday,” Rathee reports. “According to the survey, tablets were now the most-desired holiday present among U.S. adults with 16 percent of the vote, while television sets followed with 10 percent and smartphones came in next at 8 percent.”
Rathee reports, “White said Apple’s products will be particularly in demand: ‘This holiday season will belong to Apple, as the product lineup has never been stronger with a recent refresh across 80 percent of the company’s portfolio, combined with spending trends in the consumer electronics world that favor areas such as tablets and smartphones.'”

Given that iMacs were refreshed, but still can’t be ordered, just how will Apple “own the season”? For Mac Minis and iPads, yes, but other than that…
Of course you must be right. Apple is doomed and nobody will buy other iMacs and the iPad line up isn’t selling and nobody wants an iPhone. It is either that or you are very heavily mistaken.
Consumers have learned the hard way, with lots of scrap electronics and failures that cause lots of pulled out hair to BUY QUALITY, becasuse it is so much less expensive when you consider the lost time associated with “bargain” electronics.
How many pieces of electronics have you thrown away in the first 2 years? How many Apple products have you thrown away in 2 years (none if you are like me).

Apple and Nintendo are going to be the two big winners this Xmas season.
Seems fitting since they are both one of the few who actually innovate.
Apple should buy Nintendo run their games on iPad / iPodTouch & turn AppleTV into a set top gaming console via AirPlay.

With Hostess declaring bankruptcy and people losing their homes to Hurricane Sandy and missiles dropping in Israel, there will be few people left in the world who can afford to buy Apple products. Those people will only be able to afford a Kindle Fire or any cheap Android smartphone.
I think it’s time for another round of Apple downgrades because we all know for a fact that anything bad that happens in the world will always affect Apple the most. Besides, I’m sure most of you are forgetting about the Mayan calendar end of the world disaster. You actually think anyone will be buying Apple products when the world is about to end? No! They’ll be buying Android and Windows devices because they’ll get more for their last bit of cash before they die.
