“China Telecom Corp., the country’s third-largest mobile phone operator by subscribers, will begin offering customers Apple Inc.’s iPhone 5 in late November or early December, Chairman Wang Xiaochu said Friday,” Paul Mozur reports for MarketWatch.
“Meanwhile, the government is yet to decide on a plan for rolling out faster, fourth-generation mobile networks, Mr. Wang said on the sidelines of the Communist Party Congress,” Mozur reports. “Nevertheless, the transition to 4G will be quick, he said.”
