If current product releases are the result of Steve Jobs vision and direction then it may take another 4 to 5 years before Tim Cook’s leadership in new product design becomes apparent. Right now Tim Cook can ride Steve Job’s coattails, but soon enough the weight of market and consumer expectations will press on his shoulders. Time to put on your big boy pants, Tim.

Yeah, that’s the only recent move that is Halloween level scary. The derailment of the Retail mission by the new dumb ass in charge. So far that is the only real questionable move. If this guy doesn’t buy a clue soon, Cook owes it to him to give him the old Jobsian Boot.

I hate to break it to you but I think attempting reason is wasted ink, jeff is a clueless ass.
Think about what kind of person would stalk the new sites for a company they (irrationally) hate and post nonsense, in an attempt to enrage users (or even more pathetic think they were actually dissuading potential users)?

Drawing attention to the so-called end of the SJ era, over and over, and in the mean time pushing ahead the actual time this will happen, resembles the predictions for the end of the world. It is also a ploy, let’s say, additional ammo, to manipulate AAPL stock, whenever “appropriate” to leech on the stock market.

No one can predict what is likely to happen with any degree of confidence beyond a limited time frame. The time constant varies with the subject matter, of course, and electronics technology is notorious for its rapid rate of change.

Steve couldn’t even convince Disney a company he had a majour stake in and was on the board of to support Apple devices properly. So why do you think he is able to convince a God he didn’t believe in to adopt his OSs? Other than we hope God has good taste.

I said it before and I’ll say it again, to suggest that Apple is all Jobs is to insult the thousands of amazing talented people who work for Apple. And further, some of you have probably lost parents, mentors, teachers, etc. Did you just simply fail after the loss of these people? No. Why? Because you are you and your mentors throughout your years help make you into something great. Apple is the same way. Steve Jobs made Apple and crew into something great. There is no reason to think that the passing of Jobs will be the passing of Apple.

Sometimes, I think people is waiting for Apple’s debacle, mainly because Steve has past away.
But I think he left not just a well conformed team, but a way of thinking that is in Apple’s DNA and it will last for a few generations, I hope.
