Perfectly said. All these pie in the sky predictions and propaganda does nothing to help any company and that includes Apple Inc. 200 million units! Not sure about that # as Android and Windows Phone will have something to say about this as well.

FYI, I bought 2 via Apple.ca on the pre-order day and both have been shipped 2 weeks ahead of the original date that Apple prescribed when I ordered them.

This is really par for the course. Making up numbers is part of their job.
Apple may sell 120M this year so a jump to 200M would represent a 60% increase. Possible but as usual it will create disappointment if they don’t reach it.

I couldn’t get in the Apple Store this Sunday as it was so packed. Lots and lots of phones went out the door though. I’ll try again next weekend.

AAPL was down ~$14 early this morning because they ONLY sold 5 more than million phone, stores are out of stock and Foxconn workers are rioting in the streets. And that damn maps thing!!! “Analysts” were disappointed by the “low” sales. Uhhhhh huh.

(but, FWIW, by 9:50 am EST the stock had come back toe ~$6.93 or -$6.20)
