What’s actually disappointing, Samsung, is your intransigent REFUSAL to admit your guilt OR to actually innovate anything. Instead you FAKE your technology and LIE about its originality and WHINE WHINE WHINE when you get caught and properly spanked for your dirty deeds. Why do you bother to remain in business if all you can do is PLAGIARIZE and PARASITIZE.

OIC! Pull the old propaganda trick of LYING the OPPOSITE of what is true in order to fend off that exact criticism of yourself. Yawn. Seen that a few million times before. FAIL! It has now been proven that YOU sought to abuse patent law by skirting around it with your blatant mimicry of Apple. It is YOU who absolutely REFUSE to innovate, then cry fowl when you’re CAUGHT RED-HANDED.

That is exactly what has happened and will continue to happen. Thank you Apple for being THE greatest innovative force in computer technology. FRACK YOU Samsung for wasting everyone’s time and money with this needless lawsuit, needless if YOU lazy bums had bothered to innovate yourselves.

Samsung and other chaebol conglomerates in Korea were mainly propped up by heavy government subsidies during the dictatorial presidency of Park Chung-Hee (assassinated in 1978). They bribed and cheated their way to the top through exploitation of cheap Korean labor and then stealing key Japanese technologies. There’s really nothing very admirable about the histories of these corrupt conglomerates that more resemble Mafia families.

I love Korea but the way these sprawling conglomerates dominate every aspect of the country is repulsive and very sad. More Americans need to know about Samsung. Just do a Google/Wikipedia search on Lee Kun-Hee – the CEO/Chairman of the Samsung Group and the youngest son of the founder. That explains it all.

And it was only months ago that Lee and his siblings got in an ugly public spat fighting over their father’s inheritance – some $600 million or so. They were calling each other thieves and all kinds of other nasty names and Lee clenched his teeth in a TV interview and said that his brother won’t be getting a penny from him. The Korean public got so disgusted that Lee had to make a public apology. That’s Samsung for ya.

The funny thing with this Orwellian corporate double-speak is that the public knows Apple is an innovator. That’s their whole “thing”. Steve Jobs, reinventing industries, innovative industrial design, making the whole widget, etc.

This kind of talk from Samsung will get the googlegeeks and fandroids all hot an bothered, but the general public will see through it all.

Samsung says, “History has shown there has yet to be a company that has won the hearts and minds of consumers and achieved continuous growth, when its primary means to competition has been the outright abuse of patent law, not the pursuit of innovation.” If Samsung, and others weren’t stealing Apple’s work, Apple wouldn’t be aggressively seeking patents for their own creations! Besides, Apple HAS won the hearts of minds of most of the world, except downtown Korea perhaps.

Samsung still wants to undo the patent system with this announcement. Without the laws, they would be busy copying everything they can and flooding the market with Samsung junk. The fact is they don’t and would rather soften the laws so they can continue copying and stealing.

Say what? I thought Jobs tried to settle out of court with them. Now it was their idea?
