Turn your iPad into a Mac tablet (with video)

OS X Pad HD, “from Fnet Designs, transforms your iPad into a Mac tablet with a fully functional Finder bar, and lets you add apps to the dock and change its style to match any of the 70 available wallpapers (or your own), create sidebar folders for Finder windows, and access settings and customization options through the System Preferences Menu,” Wayne Williams reports for Betanews. “All software updates are applied directly through the theme.”

        4. I’m sorry I made it to the 1/2 point. I exclaimed, “What the hell is this Dev trying to show me!?!”
        5. Nice proof of concept, I suppose, but no way in hell I’m going to install that!

        1. i guess the next proof of concept will be a hardware mod to install the Metro … Whoops- I mean Windows 8 interface ‘hardware ‘CTRL-ALT-DEL’ button?

  1. So if you have this installed when you hook up something to your iPads dock connector does it show up in the finder window as an external drive? Can you transfer data directly?

  2. For those who don’t know, this is just a theme for DreamBoard. Your iPad must be jailbroken, and the only thing it does is change the look of the OS. Everything else stays the same. And this is not like an app. With this you can actually turn off the iPad and turn it back on and you will still boot back with the theme on, meaning you don’t need to run the theme again to get back to the OS X look. But yeah, other than the look, it is just useless….
