“It was the end of a long week in court in the Apple-Samsung legal war, and Samsung attorney John Quinn was trying to block his adversary, Apple attorney Bill Lee, from showing the jury a document,” Dan Levine reports for Reuters.
“As Quinn made his argument to U.S. District Judge Lucy Koh, he slipped in a reference to Koh’s pre-trial order blocking sales of some Samsung products — a subject Koh had forbidden the parties from discussing in front of the jury,” Levine reports. “‘That was improper,’ said Koh. ‘I apologize, your honor,’ Quinn responded. ‘I have a difficulty believing that was not intentional,’ said the judge.”

Levine reports, “Quinn took the extraordinary step of issuing a press release on documents that Koh barred from the trial — an open display of defiance that suggested a legal strategy aimed at creating courtroom chaos. Quinn says he intended nothing of the sort.”

I have never seen an Apple billboard for an iPhone or any Apple product and I hope that I never do.
There were lots of billboards for the original iMac in 1998. They were impressive.
I’ve seen hundreds in L.A. and in the last couple of years it’s been iPad imagery filling the board. Did like some of the early iPod dancing silhouettes with ear buds and cable, never saying Apple anywhere.
There are tons of them around Los Angrles freeways.
Lots around NYC as well. They are all very tasteful, as you would expect.

Samsung is a lying, cheating & stealing company so why shouldn’t their lawyers be too?!?
I think Samsung’s lawyer needs to spend 72 hours in the slammer every time he or his teem slips up like that.

About five years ago, we bought a Samesung washer / dryer set. They worked great until about three months ago, when the felt seal on the dryer drum failed along with one of the roller wheels that supports the drum. Instead of being able to purchase a new felt seal and glue it to the drum, Samesung only sells the drum as a unit . . . to tune of $350. What a waste of resources and money!
Not only do I refuse to buy Sony’s products, I will no longer buy any Samsung product from this day forward.
