Because, Apple INNOVATES. They research and adopt and buy into technologies that would DIFFERENTIATE Apple from it’s competitors. Meanwhile, setting trends and pushing the envelope – changing the landscape – leading the computer sector. And how you PUT all the PARTS together – you should be able to PATENT and PROTECT your Products.

Meanwhile, everyone just copies Apple. Apple bought SIRI and said to the World this is how Search on the Internet will be and integrated the technology into its software and hardware… but Mark not to be copied by others.

Like Paul, I get Siri to respond perfectly 99% of the time.
if there is background noise, then she gets confused.. sometimes. (depends on the background)

Besides, with Google’s new (and continually evolving) “Privacy” policies (or should I say Anti Privacy Policy) Google might be recording every queer y you make to their system — the better to sell targeted advertising. Ask Google voice search where the nearest ribs joint is and you’ll get to listen to five advertisements — four of which are based upon not just this one request but also information gathered from your prior 1,000 queries all of which Google keeps on file to better sell targeted advertising (for which they can get many, many more $$$ than random advertising).
