“Reuters says President Takashi Okuda confirmed it’s shipping displays for the sixth-generation iPhone starting ‘in August,’” Ogg reports. “That would be surprising for many reasons, chiefly because Apple partners know they’re not supposed to talk about Apple.”
Ogg reports, “But in reading various reports, it doesn’t seem like he actually used the word ‘iPhone’ or ‘Apple.’ He was, however, talking about the company’s IGZO displays, which have been widely reported to be part of a future Apple device.”
