“In fact, I’ll go far enough to say that, if the iPhone 5 looks like the pictures that have recently appeared, Apple may be screwed,” Blodget writes. “Why? Because the ‘iPhone 5′ looks pretty much like the iPhone 4S. Which looked exactly like the iPhone 4, a phone that is now two years old.”
Blodget writes, “In the meantime, Samsung and other manufacturers have come out with phones that make people’s jaws drop, such as the Galaxy S3, which has a (relatively) humongous screen… In short, the Galaxy feels like a next-generation phone. The iPhone, meanwhile, looks small and old. And the pictures that purport to be of the iPhone 5 show a phone that is pretty much the same small, old phone.”

MacDailyNews Take: Henry’s only doing his job. Oh wait, there’s more: Henry’s only doing his job (hit-whoring) because he lost his last one after being charged with civil securities fraud by the U.S. SEC in 2003 and was subsequently banned from working in the securities industry forever. Yes, forever.
If Henry’s little theory had any factual basis, Apple would not have gone from selling 17 million phones in the last quarter of iPhone 4 sales to 37 million units sold during the first quarter of the availability of the iPhone 4S which, oh by the way, happens to look exactly like the iPhone 4. iPhone 4S users need to talk to Siri just to let anyone know they’ve got Apple’s latest and greatest.
Regardless of whether the images above are the next-gen Apple iPhone or not, Apple’s next iPhone will become the best-selling smartphone in history, just like every other model of iPhone before it.
And Samsung’s phone is a derivative, patent-infringing piece of shit with:
• vastly inferior, highly-fragmented ecosystem for people with eyesight problems (they can’t even tell they don’t have a Retina display as they tear their clothes trying to cram their Big Ass Pretend iPhones into their pockets) and/or;
• masochistic tendencies and/or;
• a peculiar lust for running inferior ports of apps that were originally designed for iPhone months or years before finally showing up to run on a tiny subset of “Android” phonesEverybody on the planet with at least half a brain knows that iPhone is the ultimate smartphone and the rest are mere wannabe dreck for settlers and/or the ignorati.
Boldget’s article has been iCal’ed for future use as soon as next-gen iPhone sales records are released.
