Twitter executives, including co-founder Jack Dorsey and Chief Executive Dick Costolo, have expressed admiration for Apple, and have seen Apple as a natural ally against companies such as Facebook and Google Inc., which also has growing ambitions in social media with its Google+ service. Mr. Costolo recently said in an interview that Twitter officials see Apple as a model for what he said was Apple’s obsession with ease of use and simplicity.”
