MacDailyNews Take: Clearing inventory for something? 😉
[Thanks to MacDailyNews Reader “Brian S.” for the heads up.]
BFD, Target Mobile has had the iPhone 4 at $49 for over 2 months!
All of this is lying ass marketing. They should be required to call the ‘price’ of the phone the fakey up front price paid plus the contracted subscription amount.
The whole thing is a farce.
Perhaps it’s a farce for the mathematically challenged, like the lottery, but the (at least approximate) monthly costs are no secret when you sign up for the phone. Simple math gives TCO.
The iPhone 4 is free in England with a 2 year plan, I paid £99 for my 4s. So why do Americans have to pay anything for the iPhone 4 ?
I think it is because the USA is a capitalist country and not socialist. I could be mistaken but pretty sure that is the reason.
Yep! and I hope it stays that way. If companies gouge customers, customers can boycott. If there is a monopoloy of some kind then it’s because the gov’t allowed it.
8 Gigs? That doesn’t even make a good iPod.
I’m not a huge collector by any stretch of the imagination, but just the music alone in my iTunes volume comes to 26 Gigs.
8 gigs is plenty memory for many people, but yes more storage is better. Saying that an iPhone 4 with 8 gig is still a cracking phone for a first time iPhone user
