Piper Jaffray’s Gene Munster and Asymco’s Horace Dediu on Apple post-Steve Jobs

“At Fortune’s annual Brainstorm Tech conference in Aspen, Colorado, two of the most influential Apple analysts — Asymco’s Horace Dediu and Piper Jaffray’s Gene Munster — talked about the risks the company faces without Steve Jobs at the helm,” Philip Elmer-DeWitt reports for Fortune.

“The moderator is Adam Lashinsky,” P.E.D. reports.

At Fortune’s Brainstorm Tech conference, two Apple analysts see challenges to the company in its post-Steve Jobs era.

Am I missing something? It seems to me like the desktops are doing great these days… Maybe someday in the far future they’ll get rid of them when it makes sense, but I have the feeling Apple is working out some cool desktop stuff. It looks to me like smaller/more module is the way the desktops are going to go, with tablets as extensions and helpers.
