Foxconn workers were recently forbidden from working more than 49 hours/week, so they can’t be abused.

I work at Intel in the US, and they won’t let us work more than 60/60/50. That means every third week you have to reduce to 50 hours– for safety.

Probably reminds them of the millions of American jobless who can’t find work because of the iPad toting Barrack Obama who never worked in a significant private sector job a day in his life. So he is flabbergasted when he asked Steve Jobs when Apple will bring those manufacturing jobs back to America and was told by Steve that those jobs are NEVER coming back. Because Obama has no business experience other than being all talk. He thinks business can create jobs at his mere mentioning, “create jobs” and it don’t work that way but he is not educated in the ways of the business world. He then criticizes Romney for outsourcing, yet Obama is only too happy to sport a iPad manufactured in China by Chinese workers! Too rich! But to answer your question, that is how it becomes political. The headline of “Thousands applying for jobs” in China, while millions in America looking for work… Well some are, others happy to live off the state’s entitlements.
