Apple cranks up patent filings in South Korea

Purcher reports, “Apple won a preliminary injunction against the Samsung tablet yesterday and the battle between these two tech giants is ongoing. Considering that the battle has been ongoing, I found it interesting that Apple appears to be refilling old and current patents in Korea unlike never before. 1. No No No! Patent filings in South Korea are *instructions* to South Korean firms, kind of like very explicit copying instructions. Apple is so tired of the bad reputation earned by phones and tablets coming out of South Korea hurting them by association. So these instruction filings are just the latest bow to reality and an attempt to get worthy copies into the marketplace so *real* comparisons can be made Apple products and all the others. Unfortunately for Samsung, since Apple has locked up the market on good quality production gear, giving explicit instructions on how to duplicate their products is going to seriously frustrate Samsung product teams!
