U.S. Galaxy Tab 10.1 injunction moves closer after Federal Circuit denies Samsung a rehearing

“Two weeks ago, Judge Lucy Koh denied, just for the time being, Apple’s motion for a preliminary injunction against the Galaxy Tab 10.1 following a partially-successful appeal to the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (CAFC),” Florian Mueller reports for FOSS Patents.

“This morning the CAFC denied Samsung’s petition for a rehearing,” Mueller reports. “As a result, the CAFC will presumably issue the mandate to the district court very shortly, and Apple will get to refile its motion.”

Mueller reports, “Judge Koh and the parties are going to meet on Thursday for a summary judgment hearing.”

  1. Silliness…. Apple is not AAApple without Samsung components. I own a Galaxy 10.1 Tablet and frankly it is the furthest thing from an iPad and I can safely say this as I own an new iPad as well.

        1. More drivel from this Pat putz. It … Yes… IT (PAT)… claims AAPL stock has “Never Split” Yeah OK. 😉 PUTZ!!! Do you even know your own gender??? More than likely, NO YOU DON’T. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhh….mmmmhhhhaaa.
Some people you just can’t reach.

    1. My god it is dam near a Xerox, even the samsung attorney couldn’t tell the difference from only a few yards away.
How identical would it have to be before you said it “was similar”

It is pretty obvious to everyone (including samsung’s lead council) that it is a shameless rip off. I’d have more respect for you if you took the stance that samsung should be permitted to rip off Apple. (because “its the only way to design a tablet” or “design shouldn’t be copyrightable or patentable” or one of the other socialist freetard justifications)

  2. Judge Lucy Koh appears to be taking her marching orders from Korea. She should recuse herself from any further involvement with cases for or against Samsung. But I guess that neat offshore account keeps getting bigger and bigger.

    1. Yes that.

But I consistently come back to my postulate that TechTardiness Is Rampant. I strongly suspect that Judge Lucy Koh has not-a-clue about the technology she is being asked to judge.

      And that’s not good. 😯
