UPS source says documents reveal ‘something big is about to happen’ with Apple

“An administrative assistant at a top U.S. [customs] brokerage firm that handles Intel and Apple’s ocean/air accounts has informed the iPhone 5 News Blog that ‘something big is about to happen,'” Michael Nace reports for The iPhone 5 News Blog. [The sources said:] “‘Recently my team and I have been getting A LOT of protocol from Apple lately, and I can tell you there is something big getting ready to happen. Whether or not it’s the iPhone I’m not at liberty to say, but the paperwork has definately beefed up, and I’m positive it’s not MacBooks or iPads. Nothing has been flown out, but they are definately getting everything in order for customs and the FCC, I can tell you that.””

“The ‘protocol’ that the source is referring to is the routine in which a particular business runs and sets up its paperwork before going to audit or customs. UPS, in addition to being one of the world’s top delivery companies, is also is the world’s largest [customs] brokerage firm, which means that they assist big companies with their shipments that come for overseas and handle their accounts as well as helping customs,” Nace reports. “Basically anything that you order that comes from overseas goes through UPS brokerage firm and then onto customs and then finally to your door.”

Nace reports, “I asked her repeatedly about how she said she was ‘not at liberty to say’ what the Apple documents revealed to her, seeking clarification as to whether she really meant that she ‘cannot say’ because she is not sure. However, she reiterated that, ‘she is not at liberty to say,’ and repeated that the documents she has worked on reveal something other than new MacBooks or tablets.”

    1. I could tell you…
but I would have to kill you afterwards 😉

What I can tell you is it has to do with a new/updated consumer electronics product in the next 6 mos. -to a year.
You can take that to the bank.

  1. This is a stupid sentence: “Whether or not it’s the iPhone I’m not at liberty to say, but the paperwork has definately beefed up, and I’m positive it’s not MacBooks or iPads.”

If “you’re not at liberty to say”, that means you know, but aren’t allowed to tell. To go on to say “I’m positive it’s not MacBooks or iPads” is just stupid. You know what it is; of course you’re “positive”.

This woman doesn’t seem to know whether or not she knows. Which probably means she’s talking out of her butt.

  2. For all she knows it could be increases paperwork from the new iPads coming in from Brazil. Apple has not shipped stuff in from that country before so of course it would lead to more paperwork.

It’s still a guess but it makes more sense then hers.

      1. … reporter. It was the reporter doing the typing. Therefore, the spelling. A reporter who is male. Blame him. His wife wouldn’t edit “his” work for him – yet again.

    1. that’s just ambiguous. Do you mean that she said, “I’m not at liberty to say,” or she said I’m (you in this case) not at liberty to say.

“Eats, Shoots, and Leaves” or “Eats Shoots and Leaves?” Same words, two different meanings (either someone going postal at McDonald’s or a panda) with different punctuation. Definately! LOL

  3. … releasing the McPro mini-Tower! 4- and 8-core! With a wup-a$$ graphics card! W00T!
Seriously … we’ll see it when we see it. We have been warned to expect “something”. An Apple TV, perhaps. Whatever it is, it will be MORE, rather than less. This Is A Good Thing.
