I bought $10,000 worth of AAPL about 18 months ago and it’s now worth a little more than twice that amount. My only regret is that I wish I would have had more $$ to invest.
Congrats! In an average economy the normal account takes 8-12 years to double. You, sir, are ahead of the game. Me too. Long AAPL since $70.
You should try options. Riskier, but much more rewarding. As people below are saying, I have a huge smile.
Big, goofy, toothy.
(And I am NOT gloating.)
Not that any of you care, but I´m just sitting here smiling again.
Your not alone.
You’re not alone either. 🙂
Nor are you!
Me too! Nice to share here, and not be considered gloating…..
We all care, because we’re all there!
I’ve got a bigger smile than you ;^)
Since Steve Jobs returned to Apple in 1997, the stock price (split adjusted) has double a little over 9 times. On the tenth doubling, Apple will be trading over $1000 per share. Now that’s what I call increasing shareholder value. Rest in peace Mr. Jobs. Your dent is turning into a crumple zone.
…but everyone feels cheated by the fact that Apple isn’t giving a dividend and holding onto money that rightfully belongs to the shareholders.
Good point. There must be some kind of lawsuit someone could file.
wow. I remember when apple was struggling to top XOM. Now they are a full 100B plus change more.

O_o
O
And the sonic boom continues to grow stronger and spread farther.
BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Imagine if tomorrow Apple were to sell the company and give the money back to the shareholders.
No… wait…
I don’t think even Mikey Dell would be that stupid.
Oh, I don’t know…
By this time Mickey Dell probably owns some AAPL.
So which is it $508B or $514B?
Yahoo says it’s $514.67

Thanks Steve, your work has helped me a lot.
Good things come to all who wait.
There will never be enough words to describe any of this subject…… Apple & Steve Jobs. Fucking STRATOSPHERIC!
