“Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry) reported unconsolidated December revenues of NT$316.944 billion (US$11 billion), a 3.17% increase on month and 29.53% increase on year. Accumulated revenues for 2011 reached NT$2.77 trillion, a 19.89% increase compared to 2010,” Ninelu Tu and Jackie Chang report for DigiTimes.

“Foxconn indicated the growth in revenues was due to increased demand of consumer electronics,” Tu and Chang report. “PC and telecom business units have also been growing continuously.”

Tu and Chang report, “Industry sources believe high demand for Apple products such as iPhone and iPad helped to push Foxconn’s December revenues to a new record.”
