What happens when 2 iPhone 4S units’ Siri AI assistants talk to each other (with video)

MyPhoneDeals writes via YouTube:

The iPhone 4S gives us the awesome power of Siri, and with great power, comes great responsiveness.

But even at this early stage of Siri’s development, all it takes is for someone to leave 2 Siris lying around and accidentally activate them and press their buttons at the right time in order to let them speak to each other.. and the consequences can be dire.

Let this be a cautionary note. Today, someone gets fired. Tomorrow, SiriNet launches a tactical nuclear strike…

  1. Had my mac do something similar once (but less impressive/intelegent of course)

I turned on speak button press once on calculator a long time ago
then I turned on speakable items

    Me: “4”

    macbook: “44444444444444444444444444444”

  2. Kinda reminds me of the old days when we used to get Eliza and Doctor talking to each other (circa 1982). It was text based, but made a heck of a lot more sense than Siri does in that demo.
