“Apple has today released the fifth version of its iOS 5 beta to developers. The new version offers some stability improvements and bug fixes and is the second version of Apple’s beta software to be delivered over-the-air to devices, a new feature that Apple touted at WWDC as part of its new ‘post-pc’ strategy,” Matthew Panzarino reports for TNW.
“In addition to iOS 5 beta 5, Apple has also released iTunes 10.5 beta 5 and Xcode 4.2 beta 5 as well as beta 4 of the Apple TV software update,” Panzarino reports. “The OTA update clocks in at 128mb for those that installed iOS 5 beta 4.”

Good to see the updates and the beta releases, but I was hoping for the update called OS X 10.7.1. The wait continues.
Let’s hope that will fix the video conundrum….
What video problem?
Yeah cause theres some big bugs with Mission Control and windows. And performance.
And Aperture. I can’t even start that without it crashing.
And full screen on the second display..
Guys, when I downloaded lion I bunt the download (in the apps folder ) to a DVD. I have used this DVD to reinstall lion on all my computers. I found that the reinstalled lion to be much better. I have none of the above problems with aperture or mission control or performance etc. Just my experience…….two iMac’s and two MacBook pros all behaving ok so far. By the way one of the MacBook pros had lion out of the box and I have not reinstalled that one and it has been trouble free since it was unwrapped.
One other piece of advice…..don’t reinstall direct from the DVD. I copied the DVD contents into the apps folder, then ejected the DVD and then reinstalled from the copy in the apps folder.
sweet…
Cool. Now I am waiting for any updates on the release date of iOS 5 for users.
Why would they release an ATV update to developers… Unless
unless what? Some of the announced features are relevant to apple TV.
funny how it always says iPod and mp3 players on websites. Not zune and mp3 players. Cuz zunes not important enough to have it’s own categories.
The Zune was history a while back. Long enough that almost no one remembers it except Apple fans. Kinda ironic…lol
Haha I never thought of that. The zune didn’t really bring anything to the table. All it had was a copy of the clickwheel and hd display.
Who cares about the Zune. All it was was a Toshiba player with Microsoft printed on the front, and it only sold in the US. And the world doesn’t revolve around America, despite what many Americans might like to believe. Here in the UK I doubt if more than one person in ten thousand has even heard of the Zune, maybe even one in a hundred thousand. It has no significance whatsoever.
Excellent concerns completely, you only acquired a fresh target audience. What would an individual recommend in terms of your distribute which you created some days back? Just about any constructive?
