Networks Corporation today announced that for reasons relating to the significant level of interest in its approximately 6,000 patents and patent applications, it is adjourning the commencement of the auction for the sale of such assets from June 20, 2011 to June 27, 2011.

the anti-Apple DOJ requested postponement so they have more time to find a cause to deny Apple bidding rights and clear a path for GOOG to get it. Only other contender with cast is MSFT.
They have to bring it closer to the date Lion is launched because Steve Jobs has a special download section in the Lion App Store for the patents to be vacuumed down into his lighter than air MBA.
Goorgle will do no evil with these patents.
For a company with so many valuable patents, you have to wonder how they failed so badly.

its gonna be pricey google has already indicated a starting bid of 900 million to cut out all the smaller companies who have shown interest.
basically 1 billion is the starting bid for everyone else.
