Robber in ninja costume drives car into Greensboro Apple Store

“The Apple Store in Greensboro will be closed all day Friday after a man crashed his car into the store at Friendly Center in an alleged burglary attempt, police said on Friday,” Scott Gustin reports for WGHP.

“Greensboro police received a call around 4:43 a.m. after a dark gray or blue Honda crashed into the store. According to police, the man crashed into the store in a burglary attempt,” Gustin reports. “The suspect was dressed in what a witness told 107.5 KZL resembled a ninja suit, drove through the store’s plate glass windows early Friday then ran away without taking anything.”

  1. Apple needs to provide a means to stop a car in its tracks at all their stores. This kind of attack will continue until Apple responds.

Place huge curb-like devices in front of the windows that resemble the dudes on Easter Island!

    🙂

  2. How does insurance rates work on a company as popular as Apple where it is constantly dealing with people doing smash and grabs and huge sums of property loss. I mean will Apple ever become a high risk insurer? that requires a higher rate premium for it’s coverage that of course is a business expense passed on to the consumer.

Dressed in a Ninja suit… did he have Ninja Stars? Maybe Steve was checking out security or the new Gorilla Glass!..

  3. I work for a class 1 raroad and we are self insured for the first 500 million before insurance kicks in so I am sure apple is self insured up to a high amount it is basically catastrophic insurance
