Palo Alto man accused of stalking Marin county family arrested after Apple store assist

“A Palo Alto man was arrested Monday on allegations he harassed and threatened a San Rafael family by phone and email, police said,” The Marin Independent Journal reports.

“John Cannon Singleton, 47, was booked into Marin County Jail on suspicion of stalking,” The Marin Independent Journal reports. “Bail was set at $100,000.”

“Police developed suspicions that Singleton was sending the emails from Apple computer stores to use the free Internet access. San Rafael police sent his picture to several Apple stores in the region, and when he turned up Monday at the Apple store in Palo Alto, the staff alerted authorities,” The Marin Independent Journal reports. “Local police detained Singleton until San Rafael police arrived and brought him to Marin.”

  1. is it just me or is it annoying to anyone else, when you click on the “read more in the full article here” link and there is only ONE more sentence in the FULL article?

    1. Probably because he held a singleton in hearts and still bid 2 NT, causing the singlet of his formerly-single partner to singularly fall from his shoulders. No mention of a Cingular phone was made.
