Apple’s Joint Venture program helps small business to best utilize Macs, iPhones, and iPads

Apple’s new Joint Venture program is designed to help you use Mac, iPhone, and iPad to improve the way your business runs. Apple will set up your new Apple products, train your employees to get the most out of them, and make sure everything stays working with dedicated support.

We’ll set you up.
The Apple Store will be there from the beginning to make sure your new systems are up and ready to use, usually within 24 hours. We’ll transfer your existing data — including your mail, calendar, and address book — from your PC or Mac, and install any additional software you’ve purchased from the Apple Retail Store or the Apple Online Store.

We’ll also activate your Joint Venture website so you can easily access every Joint Venture service — schedule training, book appointments, get tech support, and sign up for workshops.

When everything’s set up and ready to go, we’ll take the time to show you and your staff around your new products, so you’ll be ready to hit the ground running.

We’ll get you trained.

• Company training
Schedule up to three two-hour sessions of training at the Apple Store for your employees. Our trainers will lead hands‑on workshops on a wide variety of topics — like getting started on a Mac, using iPhone and iPad for business, and creating compelling presentations with Keynote — and we’ll work with you to customize them for your company.

• Getting Started workshops
These monthly group workshops are tailored to business professionals who are working with a Mac for the first time or need to brush up on the basics. So as you add employees throughout the year, we’ll show them everything they need. We also offer special workshops for your IT department and will help them build a plan for supporting Apple products in your business.

We’ll keep you up and running.

• Dedicated support
For the first time ever, you can speak to an Apple Genius over the phone. You’ll have unprecedented access to someone who can help fix your issue, check into necessary parts, and estimate repair turnaround time. We’ll even loan you a computer. If you prefer to meet in person, you can make a Genius Bar appointment at any Apple Store in the world — we’re open early on weekdays so you can stop by on your way to the office.

• Anytime updates
Your Apple products are designed to be reliable, secure, and easy to use, and we want to help them stay that way. So we’ll run system diagnostics, update software, and even clean your keyboard and display — everything you need to make sure your equipment is helping you work at your full potential.

• Loaner program
If you need a computer while we’re working on yours, we’ll loan you a MacBook Pro or a MacBook Air ready to go with Mail, iCal, iWork, iLife, and Microsoft Office. So even if one of your machine is temporarily down, your business won’t be.

Joint Venture partners even get their own website that lets them access every Joint Venture service from scheduling training to getting tech support and more.

Joint Venture starts at $499 when you buy a new Mac and supports up to five systems. Apple defines a system as such:
• One (1) Mac Computer,
• Two (2) Apple Cinema Displays,
• One (1) iPhone,
• One (1) iPod,
• One (1) iPad, and
• The following Apple-branded hardware peripherals associated with the System: mouse, keyboard, trackpad and storage device.

  1. Glad to see this. The enterprise can take care of itself, small businesses need the help. And Macs are perfect for small businesses due to their generally hassle-free nature.

  2. £$499 sounds a lot, but the deal seems to offer more than a lot. Probably too much for a solo business but with several on the payroll buying three units at £$1500 may well be a bargain.

  3. I run a small business and $500 is peanut compared to what I pay now for monthly maintenance on my Windows system to keep it up to date and rid it of viruses and malwares. Needless to say, I will switch to Mac to take advantage of this program very soon.

  4. This sounds like the perfect thing for businesses, especially with corporate trainings and sales presentations that rely more on PowerPoint presentations (I’m sorry, Keynote presentations) to communicate. 🙂
