What is a “Kin”? I never got to see a Zune in the real world either. Didn’t get to see that Big Ass Table either. Is there some place young engineers can go to see these so they know what not to design in the future? It could be very educational.

Are there really 500 people that stupid in this country?

I think perhaps they are counting free samples given to families of the development team. Hence the name, families = kin.

And so far, I’ve never ever seen a zune in the wild (not counting retail displays), and I get around.

I’ve been selling Mercedes-Benz for nearly two years, and Hondas for over ten years before that.

In that time, I’ve helped people integrate countless iPods and iPhones, only two Androids, and never a Zune.

In fact, whenever people ask me why, along with iPod controls, the vehicles also have auxiliary input, I usually say jokingly, “That’s in case you happen to be one I the four people who bought a Zune instead of an Apple device.”

That ALWAYS gets a laugh!
