  1. Really, MDN…this has very, very little to do with Apple. Just change the colors and logo to the RNC and start advertising for them already. Two more articles or so and the app and bookmarks are gone. Stick to Apple tech, not this dimwit.

  2. Come on MDN. Most of us are not interested in your reactionary political views. Your promotion of an idiot like Beck has ZERO to do with Apple or its products. If you want to risk driving away half or more of your audience keep this up.

  3. I hate to say it, but me too.

Oh, and Apple should not advertise on that show, just as they now boycott some FOX time slots.

FYI – Predrad bid his goodbyes.. He’s now registered on AI.

MW: ‘Working’ as in…”This ain’t working for me no mo.”

  4. I’m done with mdn now. The constant prayer ads were annoying enough. But now also making a commercial for Glenn is too much. This is only about a new channel on a radio app. Nothing but propaganda. App deleted. Bookmark will be gone in a min.

    Cu guys around

  5. I am no fan of Beck either, but I look at MDN like a radio station and they need to fill dead air. Sometimes what they post is a little thin on it’s relation to mac, but there is a slight connection here nonetheless. MDN has to keep posting new items and it is a slow mac news day so they do what they have to do. If you don’t like the title of the article, then don’t click the title to read more.

  6. It’s awesome that a demagogue who bases his commentary on an alternate history of the United Staes provide by discredited religious wackos can be called a patriot. This “patriot” attacks the POTUS on a regular basis based on nothing but right wing nuttery. Does anyone remember when criticising Bush made you a traitor and a terrorist? Now you can call the Prez an illegal immigrant white people hating Nazi Commie fascist n-word, and that makes you a “patriot”. USA, your two party schizophrenia is making your country insane. When county coroners and Sheriffs and even mayors are picked on the basis of
their politics, you have created a system ripe for abuse by malicious fscktards like Beck.

  7. This is funny:

“With the addition of The Glenn Beck Program and the launch of the online Patriot Plus channel, SIRIUS XM subscribers have 24/7 access to a diverse lineup drawn from the best radio on radio.”

    DIVERSE??!!!

MW: call…as in…”Call me a libtard, or anti-First Amendment censoring basterd” – I don’t like these XM “Patriot” commenters. Period. OK?

  8. MDN:

Flaunting your right wing agenda is enough to alienate most liberal minded Apple fans ( SJ INCLUDED).

Glen Beck is an undeniable Racist. This is not Apple news. Do you think that in addition to your weekend deliberate misquoted of the president, this is how you wish to present yourself?

I suspect that you will be left only with the inbred tea baggers you deserve after yore most loyal readers desert you and create a Mac Daily Alternative.

  9. MDN,

You’ve officially jumped the shark for me with this “news”. The app was long available for the iPod Touch and iPhone; the fact that this “Patriot” channel is now being made available is no more Mac News than if a new channel on Afro Funk was being launched. It’s just another excuse for you to be a hit whore. First you chase off ChrissyOne and Predrag with your knuckle-dragger garbage; I’ve had it with this BS right-wing proselytizing too.

More and more this site is about Tea Party News or mudslinging against anyone who dares compete with, or criticize Apple. When it comes to providing balance, or context, MDN uses the Fox News playbook.

The truth is in many shades of gray, not just black and white.

I’ll leave this place to the “ron”s “First 2010 then 2012″‘s and “Thelonius Mac”s, not to mention the childish, churlish anonymous SteveJack.

    salut
    Good night and good luck.

  10. Where was the MDN announcement for the Rachael Maddow Show app? Seriously, this is bad…I get my political info from other sites. I come here for Apple news. Please stick to that. Thanks.
