   does anyone know if this is just pre-orders for non-3G iPads or is it for all models, Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + 3G

   I see the iPad for myself as mainly an around-the-house-get-me-the-fook-away-from-my-desk kind of thing, so I’m still on the fence as to whether or not to order a 3G.

   BUT, I want one NOW, so maybe it’s the wi-fi only unit as a starter.

   Whatever… there’s always craigslist!

   ORDERED IT. Site WILL accept pre-orders for ALL versions of iPad. Ordered the 64GB with 3G!!!

   Applecare available at $99. Other accessories, including a case, AC adaptor, and others also available for purchase.

   3G versions labeled as available LATE APRIL, but Wi-Fi IS April 3.

    Ordered. Wi-fi. I see it as the coffee table appliance for quick browsing, web research, mail, and all the little things I do on my MacBookPro all day long except the heavy hitters: Photoshop, etc.

    What??? No opt for instore pickup!!! Just got off phone with apple sales and they Dont have pre order for the store pickup. Apple can’t even say if fedex will dilv on sat 4/3 to my home. This is Very Un Apple Like.

    Got a 64gb wifi with case $798 total
    iPad says to be delivered on the third the case says to be shipped around then. So it looks like we might get the iPad on the actual release day and the accesories a few days later.
    I didn’t see any options for in store pickup on the online store or on any of the retail store pages.

    I was able to reserve for in-store pickup just fine on the apple site. Got to it from the iPad page, though, not through a Store page. I’m in Los Angeles.
