“Move over Lindsay Lohan – Bill Gates, party liaison, has busted out of his geek shell, table dancing into the wee hours at the Sundance Film Festival two nights in a row, much to the surprise of other revellers,” Asher Moses reports for The Sydney Morning Herald.

Moses reports, “But despite generating more headlines at the event than Paris Hilton, he might have some work to do before he unseats her as high society’s party queen, with witnesses describing his ‘gyrating’ as ‘the white boy shuffle’ and ‘lurching awkwardly in seizure-like contortions.’”

“Nathan Rabin, a journalist with AVClub.com, also saw Gates in action, saying he ‘couldn’t have been more conspicuous’ and that ‘everyone noticed him,’” Moses reports. “Amazingly, video footage of Gates dancing still hasn’t made its way on to the web – only still images and a remix video. ‘On a bench about 20 feet from the stage Bill Gates was doing the white boy shuffle alongside a bevy of beauties,’ he wrote. ‘It was a sight to behold: the richest man in the world attempting to clap in time and failing miserably while lurching awkwardly in seizure-like contortions that only vaguely resembled dancing. After seeing him dance, I can now vouch that Gates is both the world’s richest and whitest man.’”
