“Atlanta-based AT&T Mobility and Verizon have agreed to dismiss a lawsuit over Verizon ads,” Jeffry Scott reports for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
“AT&T claimed the ads mislead the public about AT&T’s coverage,” Scott reports.

Stacey Higginbotham reports for GigaOM, “The carriers also dismissed an earlier lawsuit originally filed by Verizon against AT&T about which holds the title of America’s most reliable network, and AT&T’s countersuit on the matter.”
“Perhaps the network operators were inspired by the upcoming holidays, or they’re simply saving their lawyers for a barrage of lawsuits after the FCC finishes with its net neutrality rules, special access regulations or any number of other topics the agency is investigating,” Higginbotham proffers.
