“Rumors that Apple is ready to release Snow Leopard early got another boost today, when Amazon changed the date of Wiley Publishing’s Mac OS X Snow Leopard Bible to 31 August 2009,” Macworld UK reports.

“Although Amazon has not set a date for Mac OS X Snow Leopard itself, it has set dates for various publications surrounding the title. The new date suggest growing confidence in an early launch. Rumours have posited several dates from the Friday 28 August to 4 September 2008,” Macworld UK reports.

“Apple typically launches Mac OS X software on a Friday, with Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard launching on Friday 26 Oct 2007 and Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger launching on Friday 29 April 2005,” Macworld UK reports. “Apple states the Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard will have a September release date.”
