“Kindle for iPhone is nice for people who already have a Kindle or Kindle 2 who might find themselves away from their device with a little time to kill,” Ed Burnette writes for ZDNet.

MacDailyNews Take: Good question. We think it’s more a case of rushing to get to market, than intentionally crippling the app. Obviously, the ability to read in landscape mode should be job #1 for Amazon’s app coder. Burnette covers other areas where he feels the app comes up short in his full article.
