“Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple and co-founder of Pixar Animation Studios, was among those thanked at last night’s spectacular Oscars ceremony,” Nick Spence reports for Macworld UK.

“Pixar’s WALL·E, a futuristic animated adventure for young and old, won ‘Best Animated Feature Of The Year,’ the fourth time Disney-Pixar have won the category since it was created in 2001,” Spence reports.

“WALL·E director Andrew Stanton, praised Steve Jobs for creating a ‘cinema safe haven’ where only a film like WALL.E could possibly be made,” Spence reports.
