Ah, yes. Clearly, this is an excellent example of Apple’s application screening process.
I just bought two of these apps — one for me, and one for my girlfriend.
How do you force the store to prompt you for approval when buying an app? whenever i click “buy app” it just buys it. there is no approval process or “are you sure” prompt.
I thought it said, “$9.99, and bought 10. One for each of my idiot children.
Damn! I forgot one for me.
I’d get one, but I can’t afford the iPhone plans. I’m just waiting for the heat to come off the 3G so I can get one unlocked and show the diamond! I just don’t want to pay for data unless I’m going to use at least 2/3rds of it.

On another Mac site, I read that this app was inspired by complaints that Apple was being too ‘draconian’ with allowing apps on the store.
The point is, do you really want Apple to individually vet every single app? Why not let the market sort out the crap from the gold? Apple’s only remit is to prevent apps that interfere/break the iPhone’s internal/network operation.
To even begin putting apps on the store, you need $99 and a reasonable knowledge of XCode.
I think the ‘I Am Rich’ app is utterly hilarious, but it’s not like there’s a guy with a gun to my head demanding I buy it. Simply deduce whether you want the app or not, and move on.
