Business people interested in Apple’s new iPhone 3G have questions, Eric Convey reports for The Boston Business Journal.

• How well will it work on a corporate network?

• Will it handle the basic applications my company requires?

• And most important, is it fast enough to be truly usefully for employing those applications or surfing the Web?

Convey reports, “A 30-minute test inside the AT&T Store on Boylston Street this morning before it opened suggested many a business user will be more than happy… The iPhone does indeed handle Microsoft Exchange easily… Significantly, one can easily download applications such as salesforce.com.”

“You won’t throw away your notebook computer if you buy the new iPhone. But you may give it a lot less use,” Convey reports.
