   I just found a major bug in Leopard, that I bet Apple will drop everything to fix

   Tried to unlock an iPhone with SimmFree on my MacBook with Leopard, and no go

   Had to switch over to my iMac Tiger, not a problem

   After installing this update my MacBook Pro could not find my internal hard drive start up disc. After several restarts with the same problem, I had to start up using the Leopard Install DVD and choose my internal hard drive as a start up disc. When I restarted, it was OK.

   Doing an archive&install;with Leopard lost the keychains on my iMac G5 and a G4 Powermac, but my MacBook was fine. Also seemed to cause some other glitches in the keychains even when I re-imported from backup. Maybe this update is addressing that?

   On the iMac it seemed to nuke the login keychain.

    Archive and install and activity monitor did not open, so I knew it was time to wipe and do a virgin install. Having problems with Mail and passwords to my ISP. Maybe the new login/keychain update will help. Most of my programs work at first glance. Leopard needed another month. It is called coding on the run on this rev of 10._

    Install worked great – one wipe, one upgrade. This probably represents the majority.

    There are plenty of ways to get a jacked-up install. A bit of care usually avoids the problem.

    I’ve also had some problems. However, in spite of them, I can see that Leopard is going to be VERY nice once these “little bugs” are fixed. Early adopters often have to live with problems for a while. Worth it to me. But I’ll be happy if Apple releases an update sooner rather than later.

    I’ve not had a single problem with Leopard on two machines. I think this is their more problem-free first version of a product that I’ve ever tried.

    Sorry to disappoint the haters, but no disaster here. I upgraded 3 machines to Leopard and have had absolutely zero problems on any of them. But you keep on enjoying Vista all the same since we know it’s totally bug free…

    How many times are people going to go to the “new release” well before they realize “deja vu all over again”. With Tiger I waited until 10.4.3. With Leopard, I may bite at 10.5.2 depending on user feedback etc.

    An OS release is a big deal. Apple did not release Leopard to the development community (other than beta testers) until yesterday out of concern it would be leaked to the world prematurely. Well, it’s going to take time before 3rd party apps are in full synch with Leopard’s changes. In the meantime, early adopters whine and complain. Sheesh. You’d think early adopters would learn by now.
