A picture paints a thousand words: Some ‘wow’ for Microsoft’s Windows Vista

The New York Times is running a photo taken by Ramin Talaie of Bloomberg News. The photo shows Kevin B. Rollins of Dell, Sean Maloney of Intel, Steve Ballmer of Microsoft, Hisatsugu Nonaka of Toshiba, Hector Ruiz of Advanced Micro Devices and Todd Bradley of Hewlett-Packard at the big kick-off for Microsoft’s Windows Vista operating system on Monday in New York:

  1. Why are they all covering their crotches with their hands?

It’s the same way criminal suspects subliminally put their hands around their necks, when they know they’ve just hung themselves.

Perhaps these guys know the Vista monster is gonna get their balls kicked?

Notice Ballmer has his well-covered, while Maloney (the Intel guy) left his partially unguarded.

Would the Intel-Apple arrangement have anything to do with this? 😀

  2. “Wow!”

You actually took your Windows logo…
    And you put it…
    Literally…
    *INSIDE* an Apple aqua ball.

And you actually sit there and claim you don’t ape Apple.
Well your visual marketing department sure does, at least.
And… maybe one or two of the folks over in UI design.

    Wow. Just wow.
