[UPDATED: 11:26pm ET after the video appeared via iTunes Store.]
[Thanks to MacDailyNews Reader “gman” for the heads up.]
ok, I found this out by accident..nevert the less, I sent Apple a note asking..”where’s the beef?”
just wait and see now.
This is salt in the wound to “have to” watch it on a “measly” 5G iPod for the next 6 months… 😀

MDN Magic Word: finally
ware iz it?
Free advertising.
yo! load the baby on your 5G iPod and then…connect to TV..
in the words of Carlos Mencia “dee, dee, dee”
does anybody remember me saying this would be a good idea the other day? I hope they do this every year with Macworld and WWDC.
MDN magic word: couldnt as in i couldnt wait for this to happen
Can I burn it to a DVD for my pc friend to watch?
Oh good, my TV theater needs some good content.
The explicit adult video podcasts are not nearly as entertaining.
I agree with gman – I watched the whole thing streaming on my iMac. I had it at fullscreen, so you can imagine the picture quality was pretty bad. Getting it on my iPod and watching on the tellie will be awesome!
MegaME,
thats a good idea, you could do it with iSquint http://www.isquint.org and iDvd.
About time! I sent them an e-mail suggesting they do this three years ago. Nothing like free advertising!
I wanted this damn thing last night but wasn’t willing to pay the $29.99 for QuickTime Pro.
I’ve already “Subscribed”
It’s on YouTube as well, though the quality is… well, it’s YouTube.
The opening part is here. The rest can be found by going to the uploader’s channel.
From: R2: “I wanted this damn thing last night but wasn’t willing to pay the $29.99 for QuickTime Pro.”
You don’t need QuickTime Pro to watch it – the free version will work just fine. It won’t do full screen, but if you press -option ‘+’ you can zoom in on the screen and make it full screen.
P.S. If -option ‘+’ doesn’t work, press -option-8 and then it will work. -option ‘-‘ unzooms.
No, I mean I wanted to download it. They would only let me save the file with QuickTime Pro.
Pardon my manners. I meant to say thanks anyway, Quevar. I appreciate it.
I hate streams, and I have phat broadband. This is awesome news.
Now post the damned thing.
You can’t save the stream with QuickTime Pro either, so it wouldn’t have done you any good.
What?!>?! Yahoo does not support Safari browser WTF!!!! Just signed up an been rejected . . . hello
Are they going to cut out the part where Steve’s clicker stopped working?
Sweet… When the lights dimmed and Steve went, “This… is a day I’ve been waiting for for 2 and a half years,” it was a moment of Hitchcockian intensity. I can’t believe I’m going to be re-visiting a freakin’ product pre-announcement, but boy am I ever.
Montex: they don’t usually cut out the bloopers. No need, either, if you ask me. It takes a really petty mind to pick on that kind of thing.
Where the heck is it???
7:15 pm CST, there’s the iTMS page for it, and a Subscribe button, but no visible file. Did it suddenly get Steve’ed ??
Already signed up for the Podcast. Bring it on. I too tried to save it with quicktime pro.
