“The Walt Disney Co. board of directors has modified its compensation policy to exclude director Steve Jobs from receiving compensation for serving on the board, Disney said in a securities filing Friday,” Reuters reports.

“Apple Computer Inc. chief executive Steve Jobs has asked not to be paid the $65,000 annual salary he is entitled to as the newest board member of The Walt Disney Co.,” The Associated Press reports.
AP reports, “Jobs has a history of declining compensation for board service and has taken token salaries as CEO at Apple and at Pixar Animation Studios, where he was chairman and CEO before Disney bought the company earlier this year.”
