Alibaba is a good company but never buy anything from their members if they dont’ have trustpass which basically means that they are verified.
Most of the unverified members they sell notebooks at very low pricing which of course never deliver.And a lot of them are from Romania ,with a UK fake address.

And another thing… Isn’t Mac OSX86 an illegal derivative of Mac OS X 10.4 for Intel Macs? Seems to me that just selling it would be a guarantee of court-imposed fines.

That whole advertisement is intillectually bankrupt.. They are using a P4 Prescott and calling it a G6…

They basically just installed the developer preview of OS X86 on compatible hardware.

First of all, the Pentium4 Prescott is NOT a 64-bit CPU.
Secondly, it’s obviously NOT a PowerPC processor.
Thirdly, WTF is wrong with them? I’d like to meet their drug dealer and shake his hand. He must know where to get the good stuff.

Ordered mine with SAME-DAY shipping (only $500.00 extra). I’m typing on it right now. This thing blows the Core-Duos out of the water! Boots in under 1 second too. I also ordered the 101″ spazma display, upgraded the RiM to 1 TerrahBite and have a 10 TerrahBite Floppy dive. Comes with BackRow, iDead ’07, and OS Y preinstalled, and is backed by a LIFETIME warranty. I don’t know how they did it, because when I opened the case (they use a Master Lock but provide no key so I had to break out the TIG welder), there was nothing inside. The must be using bleeding edge nano-tech. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Kind of surprised that nobody really read the ad…under “Software” it lists Photoshop 9 (CS2) and Office 2004.

I just know that Adobe and Microsoft would be happy to know that their software is being bundled OEM.

I’m disappointed in everyone for not commenting on this…

Guys, the 309 area code listed for ReDPC is Peoria, Illinois… but there street address is Los Angeles. The address they list does not exist according to the US Post Office (undeliverable) and, if it did exist, for that address the ZIP would be 90005 instead of 90010. They claim over 1000 employees and $10 to $50 million sales at that address but the 90010 Zip Code is pure residential zoning with a population of only 1943 living in 996 structures.

This is not a legitimate ad or company.

Also ALL of the articles on the resurgance of Mac clones in the marketplace are based on this one ad.

Umm, not to be too picky, but the zip code would be 90017 (not 90005). You can check out the Nextel store in the 600 block:

For even more fun, you can pull up the 600 block via http://maps.a9.com and see that it only goes up to 628. I was debating about snapping some additional pictures the next time I was in that area, but I guess it would just be some smoke and mirrors…

I don’t think we can be too picky with these clowns…

Well, putting the address 660 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA into the US Postal Service’s ZIP code locator returned the 90005… but 600 and 700 Wilshire both return 90017 as you found. Strange.

The Post office also told me that the 660 address was “undeliverable”, because “the building does not or no longer exists”, probably because of that fact you uncovered about 628 being the highest number in that block.

The important fact is that there is no business with 1000+ employees at 660 Wilshire Blvd in Los Angeles… hehehehe.
