Shares of Apple Computer, Inc. (AAPL) surged in opening trading following news of a deal to add NBC Universal television shows for download to Apple’s iTunes Music Store. AAPL share rose $1.98, or 2.76%, in heavy trading volume to hit a new all-time intraday high of 73.80.

Apple’s previous all-time high was $72.74, set on 12/02/2005. Apple’s 52 Week Low was $30.80, set on 12/21/2004.
