Motorola’s Apple iTunes phone software screenshots posted online

Motorola has confirmed the images Gizmodo ran last week are indeed development shots of iTunes Mobile, as well as confirming a July launch date for the software. Gizmodo has published a letter they received from Motorola:

The correct images of the iTunes screens are still under development and are not final nor approved by either Apple or Motorola. We would expect them to be available mid July when the product launches.

Thank you in advance for removing these images from your site.

Kind regards,

At least it seems, from those screenshots, that someone at Apple is trying to steer the “look” of those phone screens toward something like the color screens on the iPod photo.
